2011 Allowable Rental Increase
The
guideline is the maximum amount that most landlords can increase a
tenant’s rent without making an application to the Ontario Rental
Housing Tribunal. The
2011 annual rent increase guideline is 0.7 per cent. This is one of
the lowest guidelines since the introduction of rent regulation in
Ontario in 1975..
